Street artists and muralists bring with them vibrant and a new perspective that architects or designers may not have. All you need is vision, courage, local creative talent and some colorful paint. It changes the face of the city into an exciting and fun environment with some creative input.

Graffiti artist Banksy is up for an Oscar the 27th of February with his film Exit Through The Gift Shop, for best documentary. Bansky – who hides his identity and often wears a mask – may be in town for the ceremony.
Much of his street art has been around London, although he has visited numerous other towns. Stars as Angelina Jolie are big fan of his work.
In Hollywood one of his best works was removed: a cartoon of a drunk Mickey Mouse swigging from a Martini glass, with his arm around a woman, alongside a drug-addled Minnie Mouse. Are the States ever ready for something a little bit more provocative?
